KWP's Presentation Night- 22 August, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club's Presentation Night is to be held on the 13 September at the Great Northern Hotel, Chatswood starting at 6pm.
Cost for the night is $25 per person which includes fingerfood.

KWP AGM - 22 August, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club's AGM will be held at the clubhouse on the 20th September at 11am. We are also having a clean up of the clubhouse prior to the start. All players are asked to attend.

Win a Sony DVD Home Theatre System - 28 July, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club's is currently running a raffle to raise money for the club with the major prize being a Sony DVD Home Theatre System valued at $900. We will be selling them at the clubhouse during the Tri Nations games as well as the junior's home games. The winner will be drawn at the presentation night.

Redfield game cancelled - 16 July, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club's game against Redfield scheduled for this weekend has been forfeited by Redfield. The game on the following weekend against Redfield at Lofberg Oval will still be on and we hope you can join us for our last game at home for the year.

KWP's Old Boys Day/Call to Arms 1 July, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club's Old Boys Day will be held on 5 July. We are also endorsing the Cancer Council's "Call to Arms" to raise money to help the fight against prostate cancer. All players will be wearing yellow armbands in recognition. Following the game will be having an Air Guitar Competition in the clubhouse and other raffles through the night |
KWP's rescheduled game 10 June, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club's game against Redfield has been rescheduled to be played on the 26 July due to the oval being closed over the weekend. We will also be having the first annual KWP Christmas in July dinner in the evening. |
KWP's Silly Nose Day - 10 June, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club will be hosting a Silly Nose Day at their next home game on the 21st June. Prizes will be up for grabs for the funniest noses and there will be other raffles to be won. After the game there will be a pig on a spit.

KWP to appear on Channel Ten 29 May, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club will be appearing on the Channel Ten News Tuesday night with Tim Bailey's weather report to support the Call to Arms organisation. If you would like to participate please be at Concord Oval, Concord by 4.30pm. Juniors and Seniors are welcome to attend. |
KWP supporting fight against Prostate Cancer - 26 May, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club will be supporting the fight against Prostate Cancer at the last home of the year. At the traditional Old Boys Day this year, we will be asking for donations to help a good cause. Players will also be wearing yellow arm bands. We will be hosting post game celebrations, including raffles, in the clubhouse after the game and everyone is welcome to come along.

Changes to draw - 7 May, 2008
Due to the Council closing the oval for the game against Redfield on 26 April, the Killara West Pymble Rugby Club will be playing Redfield on the 7 June at Lofberg Oval.

Changes to draw - 14 April, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club will not be playing at home as per the program and draws handed out on Saturday. We will be in fact playing Terry Hills at Yulong Oval, Terrey Hills. Also, the following round is to be played at Lofberg Oval, West Pymble against Redfield, not an away game against Norwest. We apologise for any inconvenience

Team Socks and Shorts available - 7 April, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club's official team shorts and socks are now available to buy. Shorts are $20 and socks are $5.

ANZAC Day Celebration - 18 March, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club will be hosting ANZAC Day celebrations at the KWP Clubhouse on the 25 April. We will be starting at Chatswood War Memorial Dawn Service at 5.30am, then will meet back at the Clubhouse for breakfast and a complimentary rum. Later in the day we will have 2up and other games planned.

Second Trial Game Details - 18 March, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club's second trial game times against CBOBs and Balmain on the 29 March have been pushed back to 4.15pm for the first 40 minute game and 4.50pm for the second. The venue is still at Wakehurst Rugby Park, Waldron Road, Belrose.

Order Your KWP Shirt Now - 17 March, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club is now taking orders for the first shipment of Polo Shirts for 2008. Shirts are priced at $30 each and sizes range from S, M, L, XL, and XXL. If you would like to order, please contact our president, David Gibson, by the 26 March.
If you do not wish to order one now, we will be ordering more later in the year. |
Season Underway with First Trial Game - 17 March, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club's season commenced on Saturday with the completion of the first trial game for the year against the Sydney Harlequins. It was a good start to the year, with many new faces at the trail game and showing early signs of combinations forming.

Bangers on the BBQ at Bunnings Belrose - 6 March, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club had a hugely successful BBQ at Bunnings Belrose on the 23 February. The club managed to raise over $900 from the day. Thank you to all how came and helped and a special thank you to Donna Cross for organising the day.
Due to the success of the day, we will be having more later in the year at various Bunnings. Check back here for later dates. |
Trial Ground Announced - 6 March, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club's trial with Sydney Harlequins will be played at Wentworth Park, Ultimo kicking off at 4pm. We aim to play 4 quarters of 20-30 minutes each. The field itself lies on the Eastern side of the ground along Wattle street. The best parking options are on Wentworth Park Road. Spectators and supporters are welcome to come along and watch.

Easter Raffle - 26 February, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club will be running a Easter Egg Raffle that will be drawn at 8pm on 19 March at the Clubhouse. Tickets are $1 each and are available to purchase at the Clubhouse on Wednesday and Friday nights.
First Prize is a Basket of Chocolate Eggs valued at over $250
Second Prize is a 1kg Chocolate Easter Bunny

Friday night Super 14 games at the clubhouse - 13 February, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club will be showing the Super 14 games on Friday nights at the clubhouse. Everyone is welcome to join us. Doors will be open from 5pm. |
Trial Games Announced - 13 February, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club has announced that there will be a pre-season trial on the 15 March against Harlequins. The time and oval will be announced once confirmed. Another has been confirmed for the 29 March against CBOBS and Balmain at Wakehurst Rugby Park, Waldron Road, Belrose, starting at 12pm. |
Pre Season Training Begins - 2 January, 2008
The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club has announced that pre-season training will begin on Wednesday 6 February at 7pm. If you would like to play touch football before training, please get there at 6pm. Please remember that football boots are not permitted on the ovaluntil the cricket season is finished so please bring running shoes. |
